Complete redesign of front and back gardens for a late 19th century Victorian townhouse, Suffolk
The back garden had suffered years of neglect as the clients could not visualise the potential of the garden. A wall of Leylandii originally planted to screen the adjacent car park had been removed and the garden fenced prior to my arrival. This provided an 'open book' for a complete redesign of the back garden. The car park was still a major consideration so we encouraged the focus of the garden away from the north east boundary fence into the garden.
As the house was built in the Victorian period my suggestion was to restore the front garden to its former Victorian style.
