Townhouse garden, Richmond Hill, London
The brief for this garden was to design a garden to be in keeping with the interior of this luxury property whilst providing a low maintenance level. A grade 2 listed Folly at the end of the garden combined with very limited access to the site created interesting challenges for this design. The existing Portland Stone terrace was to be retained as part of the design. The design incorporates a pebble mosaic inspired by interior plasterwork motifs from the ceiling of the property and design motifs from the interior of the Folly.
Design details include Portland Stone, black slate insets, custom design pebble Mosaic by Janette Ireland, lighting and irrigation system.
